Staff Testimonial - Andrea Smidova Hi, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Andrea, the welfare and activity leader at IELS Gozo and I come from a small village called Jaklovce, which is in the eastern part of Slovakia. Well, I can’t express how glad and happy am I that I got the opportunity to work here. Preparing and organizing leisure activities for our students, with the aim of showing them all the natural beauty of this island, is one of the nicest and most valuable times in my life. I really enjoy meeting and getting to know people from different parts of the world – many students from all over Europe but also from Colombia, Brazil, Japan, South Korea and Mongolia. Discovering and visiting wonderful places as a group is not only about spending time together and having fun, but also about practicing and improving our English every second of the day. It is a real pleasure being part of the IELS team and I always try my best to complete my varied tasks in the office and help our students with whatever they need. Most of all, I hugely appreciate having the chance to upgrade my language and communication skills from day to day. I think there’s no need for me to say anything else - just come, stay and study with us. It’s so much better to experience it once yourself than hear about it from others! Student Testimonial I think Gozo is the best school to combine learning with excursions and activities. The staff and teachers were always available for assistance, and I really enjoyed the English lessons. My stay at the hotel was lovely, and I had a great view of the harbour. I really enjoyed my stay. Karl Heinz fr... Karl Heinz
